Prospective Hajji with sufficient savings can easily register for their Hajj at the nearest HFCL offices. They can also plan their Hajj 30 years in advance following the introduction of the account opening form.

HFCL has implemented the open registration system that allows Muslim to register for their Hajj throughout the year and at any HFCL offices nationwide.
a) Conditions for Registration
B) Hajj Registration Procedures Applicants need to fill up the Application Form for Registration and Hajj Passport that is provided at all HFCL offices nationwide. The completed form must be submitted to the Hajj Registration office with:
c) Registration Service Payment A non-returnable service charge of TK-1,000 will be deducted from the applicant’s savings account upon acceptance of his/her application. d) Registration Period With the open registration system there is no fix date and registration can be done throughout the year at any HFCL offices nationwide. e) Old and Sickly Prospective Hajji Prospective Hajji who is old and sickly must be accompanied by the next-of-kin who will take charge of his/her welfare matters and performance of hajj if he/she is sick at the Holy Land. Details of the next-of-kin are recorded in the pilgrim’s medical record. f) Prospective Hajji with Unsound Mind Applicant who suffers from mental disturbance or unsound mind is not eligible for Hajj and exempted from such religious ritual. g) Terminal Disease Sufferers with no Change of Recovery Those suffering from terminal diseases and have no chance of recovery are also exempted from performing their Hajj since their presence might cause difficulties and inconveniences to other Hajjis. Permission to perform hajj for these people will be at the discretion of medical officers attending to their condition. h) Quota and Priority The Saudi Arabia Government has imposed quota of pilgrims from each country, thus priority is given to the early birds for each hajj season. i) Hajj Cost Attached is the minimum cost for performing Hajj for adult and children that include:
j) Expenditure at the Holy Land Hajjis participating in the normal package are advised to bring sufficient amount of money for their expenditure at the Holy Land other than for food and drinks that will be provided by HFCL. They can deposit their money in their HFCL savings account that can be withdrawn during their stay at the Holy Land. HFCL also provides payment service for penalty (Dam) and sacrifice. k) Services at the Holy Land Pilgrims are strongly advised to follow all procedures of hajj handling and participate in Programmes organized for them. They are also encouraged to capitalize on the various facilities and services provided for them. They could not seek for redemption or compensation for unused facilities and services. l) Hajj Passport and Air Ticket Pilgrims will be given their Hajj passport and air ticket during registration for departure at the airport or Hajj complex. m) Guidebook on Hajj Rituals Guidebook on religious rituals during Hajj will be given free during registration. m) Hajj Courses The Hajj Registration Office will inform prospective Hajji’s of the date, time and places of hajj courses for the respective pilgrimage season. It is advisable for them to follow these courses full heartedly to avoid complications and mistakes during performing their hajj or while staying at the Holy Land. n) Identification Tag The Hajj Registration office will provide Hajj scheduled for departure in the coming hajj season with identification tag in the form of bracelet and nametag. o) Health Examination Pilgrims will be notified to undergo for medical examination and to get anti meningitis injection in the month of Sya’aban, three months before their scheduled departure. They need to purchase the Treatment Record Book at the price of TK-100 available at the Hajj Registration Office. Departure for prospective pilgrims who failed in their medical examination will be postponed until medical officers attending them are satisfied with their health status. p) Pilgrimage through Package or Consortium Selected pilgrims or those who wish to perform Hajj through package service is required to fill the registration form for Packaged Hajj that will be sent to the Package Unit while those opting for Hajj Consortium can acquire the confirmation form for participation from the relevant body. q) Flight Schedule HFCL will send flight schedule to prospective pilgrims under its wing while sponsors will notify those opted for package and consortium services. r) Cancellation and Postponement Prospective pilgrims who wish to cancel or postpone their departure are required to fill the Cancellation Form available at the Hajj Registration Office and the completed form needs to be returned to the respective office. Applicants must satisfy stringent conditions imposed by HFCL since their decision to cancel or postpone departure will trigger a chain-reaction to HFCL’s pilgrimage operations. For request made after expenditure for pilgrimage has been debited into their account or allocation of seat has been given to them, HFCL will freeze TK-25,000 from their savings account. Exemption is given for cases such as death or absence of mahram (next-of-kin or female companion) for female pilgrim or as advised by medical officer. HFCL has the right to change, amend, add or revoke any of the existing conditions from time to time without giving any advance notice. s) Exemption of HFCL’S Burdens HFCL will not be responsible for any forms of accident including loses of property due to theft and robbery; delay of flights, natural disasters such as flood, fire, earthquake and storm; riot, war and any mishaps, difficulties, inconveniences and complications during performance of hajj and journey to and from the Holy Land that are beyond HFCL‘s control and jurisdiction. There is no provision for claims and compensation due to losses and inconveniences caused by such events.

Pilgrims will be issued the Hajj Flight Schedule two weeks after hajj registration. The schedule contains information such as date and time of departure, airline and flight number, place and time for check-in, place and time for gathering and final briefing, issuance of vital documents such as hajj passport and various other activities and procedures that need to be complied prior to departure. It will also notify pilgrim details of the scheduled arrival from the Holy Land to enable family members to make the necessary arrangements. |
