Hajj expenditure refers to the amount needed for:
- Hajj passport
- Two-way ticket (to the Holy Land and back to Bangladesh)
- Service charges imposed by the Saudi Arabia authorities handling pilgrims namely, Muassasah Mutawwif (Mecca), Muassasah Adillak (Medina) and representatives of United Representatives in Jeddah
- House rental in Mecca and Medina
- Bus fare at the Holy Land
- Food and drink at Arafah and Mina
- Tent at Arafah and Mina
Pilgrims have to save enough money for the Hajj expenditure for the respective season.
HFCL will absorb the following cost:-
- Part of the food provided at the Holy Land
- Identification bracelet
- Hajj guidance book
- Health brochures
- Guidebook on journey during pilgrimage
- Hajj courses.
- Food provided at the King Abdul Aziz International Airport
- Takaful insurance
- 2-litre Zamzam water
- Medical and welfare services and facilities
